Early in 1982, a group of graduates from the Certificate of
Proficiency in Industrial Safety course, jointly with the Industrial Centre, Hong Kong Polytechnic & the Hong Kong
Labour Department founded the Hong Kong Industrial Safety Association with a
vision to promote the industrial safety in Hong Kong. Since then the
association had been inactive for a while and was revitalized in 1985 until
today.
Throughout these years we have been notably sponsored by various
industry leaders including The
Hong Kong and China Gas Company Ltd, Green Island
Cement (Holdings) Ltd., Ocean Park, Industrial Centre-Hong Kong Polytechnic, Hip
Hing Construction Co. Ltd, Hanison Construction Co. Ltd, Chun Wo holdings
Ltd, Great East Asia Surveyors & Consultants Co.
Ltd, Yau Lee Construction Co. Ltd, Kim Hung Construction Co. Ltd., Drillcut

etc. so that we are gradually growing until today. We
take this opportunity to express our greatest respect & appreciation to

Stepping into 2020, the Hong Kong
Industrial Safety Association is proudly to pronounce that we are marching into
our 35th
Anniversary. In order to mark this important milestone for the Association, we
had formed a HKISA 35th Anniversary Celebration Committee, planning & organizing functions to celebrate this extraordinary occasion. A lot of former
chairmen and executive committee members come forward to join and contribute
their efforts.
Firstly the theme of this occasion was set to be “Memories of
Occupational Safety in the past 35 years”. Secondly it was decided that an annual
safety conference will be organized, followed by a celebration dinner
which will be held at the YMCA, 41 Salisbury
Road, Tsimshatsui, Kowloon.
We are still looking for ideas and assistance. Should you willing to
